UM Crowned Top-Performing Media Agency For January

The IPG-owned Universal McCann has begun the new year in bullish fashion, claiming top spot on R3’s monthly list of new media business wins for January.

On the back of big wins that included the $23 million AGL account, UM was up two spots from the previous month to snare the title.

OMD, who’d dominated the list for much of 2017, lost its crown but still managed an admirable second position.

Dentsu X, however, was the real mover, coming in at third spot – a commendable rise of 28 positions from the previous month.

Havas Media was up one spot to fourth and Vizeum continued its erratic from moving up 10 spots to round out the top five for the month.
