Jenny Mak, creative partner at DDB, and Heather Sheen, head of planning at R/GA, will lead the Copy School’s Empathy, Strategy, and Persuasion masterclass in Sydney.
The news means that there are now more women tutors than men, a first for the Copy School.
The copywriting school is running a range of masterclasses starting in November, covering a range of topics including writing to length and using empathy, strategy, and persuasion.
“My co-chair Chris Taylor and I are immensely grateful for the generosity of the pro bono tutors”, said John Bevins, the Copy School’s chair.
“They are keeping alive the creative mentorship that makes the industry. Plus they are making its possible for up to 20 students to get years of learning in one week, for just $495 each… nine masterclasses an intimate venue and a graduation lunch on the Friday.”
The courses in Melbourne will be held at Brix Bar and Dining. The Sydney courses, being held a week later, will take place at The Nag’s Head.
