Tuesday TV Wrap: The Masked Singer Reveals Its Secrets, But The Block’s The Pick Of The Night

It’s been a blockbuster season for 10’s The Masked Singer and in the leadup to next week’s grand finale, a special episode gave viewers a behind the scenes look of the wacky yet wonderful TV show.

According to OzTAM metro numbers, a good 592,000 viewers tuned in to watch The Masked Singer: Unmasked, which is lower than the show’s typical eyeballs, but a decent viewing for a special. However, it was Nine’s The Block which stole the night with 753,000 views. Meanwhile, Seven’s Plate of Origin continues to struggle, with 382,000 viewers watching – the lowest episode of the season.

Nine won the night with a primary channel share of 20.0 per cent, Seven got silver with 16.0 per cent, ABC did 13.3 per cent, 10 did 12.4 per cent, and SBS did 5.4 per cent.

Here’s how the rest of the night ran.

Seven 

News did 1.11m, The Chase did 565,000 and Home and Away did 570,000.

Nine

News did 1.01m, A Current Affair did 734,000, Halifax: Retribution did 505,000 and Hot Seat did 546,000.

The Project did 519,000, a repeat of Ambulance Australia did 382,000, and 10 News First did 375,000.

ABC

Over at the ABC, news did 724,000, Anh’s Brush with Fame did 611,00, 7.30 did 592,000, and Further Back in Time for Dinner did 535,000.
