After yesterday’s news that Kyle Sandilands had agreed to head back to Network Ten for a new Judge Judy-esque show, it now appears rumours that disgraced Labor politician Sam Dastyari has signed with the network appear true, too.

News Corp websites have today confirmed rumours Dastyari will front a new scandal-come-current affairs program to be called Disgrace.

The 35-year-old Dastyari sensationally quit parliament last December following allegations of dodgy dealings with Chinese business figures.

According to reports, Disgrace will delve into major scandals, what caused them, who were the winners and who were the losers. It will be done in a panel form, with Dastyari as host and other guest commentators.

The Chaser’s Charles Firth has also been drafted in as producer and pilot episodes are already being filmed.

There had been earlier media reports that controversial PR queen Roxy Jacenko would also be involved in the show, however, that rumour has since been quashed.

According to a source quoted on the Daily Telegraph website, the show will be “pretty edgy” and added: “It’s taking scandal and political scandals to a space that no one has been covering.”

Ten declined to comment when contacted by B&T.
