B&T does warn that if you’ve never seen an episode of 90s comedy smash Seinfeld then this article will possibly make no sense whatsoever.
One of the more eccentric characters from the fabled show was fast-talking lawyer Jackie Chiles played by the actor Phil Morris who’s reprised the role for a new ad campaign in the States.
The new work sees Chiles/Morris flog Hanover’s Pretzel Pieces with his signature tag “egregious, outrageous, and audacious”.
The Heinz-owned Hanover’s has apparently seen pretzels come back into popularity in the US with sales increasing 11 per cent year-on-year and the flavoured variety up a tasty 20 per cent.
Seinfeld itself is also finding new audiences after being added to Netflix’s roster and that’s despite the final episode airing some 24 years ago.
Get set to feel all nostalgic below:
And Seinfeld characters reprising their roles is nothing new of late. The show’s cantankerous neighbour and postman, Newman (played by the actor Wayne Knight), recently starred in a spot for a US telco firm. Check out the work HERE.
And just for old time’s sake, here’s some classic Jackie Chiles/Kramer action.
