Publicis Awards CEO Arthur Sadoun With A 17% Pay Rise Amid His Cancer Battle

Publicis Groupes chairman and CEO Arthur Sadoun is an industry icon and after five years at the agency, He has just deservedly been awarded a 17 per cent pay rise.

UK trade site Campaign has reported that this is the first raise that Sadoun has seen from the agency that he started in 2017.

Sadoun has seen the agency through the pandemic and continued to put out consistently solid work and the odd crazily good staff Christmas campaigns.

According to Campaign, Sadoun’s efforts are being rewarded with a 17 per cent increase on his base salary of EU 1 million aka $AU1,492,475.00.

Sadoun who’s known for his incredibly creative mind has had a pretty tough year and he posted a very personal video in April revealing his recent cancer battle, so really there’s no one more deserving.

Sadoun said: “I want to share something with you that is very personal, a couple of weeks  I had surgery as they had to remove a very small tumour.

“They removed all the cancer cells, and today I can tell you there’s absolutely no reason to worry.

“I will now do a follow-up treatment to assure that this never comes back.”

So, it is a well-deserved raise for Sadoun.
