Network Ten has confirmed the appointment of Michael Bass to assist with its trading strategy.
Bass has taken on the role of negotiation manager at Ten, after quitting as IPG Mediabrands’ general manager of investment in April last year “to discover what else is out there”.
Ten’s chief sales officer, Rod Prosser, said in a statement to B&T: “We’re delighted to be working with someone of Michael’s calibre over the coming months as we continue to build Ten’s new sales team.
“It’s important that we look to the best in the industry to help us deliver great solutions for our clients. We’re looking forward to announcing some more key appointments in the coming weeks.”
Bass’ appointment follows Ten’s move to bring its ad sales in-house and split from Multi Channel Network earlier this month.
