IPG Mediabrands GM Of Investment Calls It Quits

IPG Mediabrands general manager of investment Michael Bass will be stepping away from the company end of April.

Bass announced his departure via email to journalists this morning.

In the email, Bass acknowledged his seven years with the company, where he headed up the group’s investment discipline.

Bass did not specify where he would be heading, though said he was excited for a change.

“With all of the considerable and rapid changes across the media industry, it’s time to discover what else is out there, what else I can be inspired by and what else I can learn. I now have the opportunity to do just that.”

He added, “I would like to thank each and every one of you for your support and friendship during my time here.”

“It has been an absolute delight to work with such amazing media partners, clients and colleagues. We have achieved a great deal together and I hope we can continue to build on that well into the future.”

Bass will have his final day with company April 24.
