Frontier Advertising has rebranded to Frontier Media, complete with a fresh new look, and expanded its core team to accomodate some big clients wins.

Frontier Media was acquired by Australian-owned, independent agency group VMG (Venetian Media Group) in early 2020. The rebrand is seen as an important step in VMG’s growth strategy and core services offering as it looks to build a portfolio of unique, specialist brands.

Frontier Media’s Head of Commercial & Partnerships, Ben Welsh (left, pictured) says incredible client partnerships such as those with New Balance and Hotondo Homes along with new wins Mercedes-Benz Financial Services, Fresh Markets Australia and My Pay Now have been key drivers for the agency’s growth trajectory.

“We’ve taken this year to reflect on our specialist areas as a brand and bring those to the forefront. We feel Frontier Media better represents the core services we provide to our clients,” said Mr Welsh.

“Frontier is renowned for its ability to deliver exceptional strategies and media solutions. As a media and marketing agency, we are focused on delivering authentic, results-driven partnerships and services to our clients.”

The agency has bolstered its team with new hire award-winning Strategy Director Andrew Hardeman (right, pictured), making the move from Carat Australia.

“We’re not interested in rapid acceleration but rather sustained growth to ensure our existing clients receive the same high level of service and account attention expected at Frontier Media. Andrew will drive strategy and media plans through a rich understanding of our client’s core campaign objectives and audiences,” said Mr Welsh.

Mr Hardeman has delivered both domestic and international campaigns for companies including Hisense, Holden, Medibank and Schweppes.

“The high calibre of talent we are attracting is a testament to the quality of work VMG delivers throughout its ecosystem of brands,” said VMG Chief Executive Officer Michael Fishwick.

“VMG’s business strategy this year had a renewed focus on our commitment to our united family and client partnerships. I’m pleased to see our team continuing to step up and excel in their fields, rewarded for their efforts with greater opportunities for growth across the wider Group,” said Mr Fishwick.
