Droga5’s Seriously Twisted Remake Of Little Red Riding Hood Is The Ad 2020 Needs

Droga5’s Seriously Twisted Remake Of Little Red Riding Hood Is The Ad 2020 Needs

Who doesn’t need a laugh during these grim pandemic times? And if there’s one agency that’s definitely firing on the gags front it has to be Droga5’s London office.

As B&T reported back in August, the agency delivered one of the funniest campaigns of the year for subscription service Setapp. Check out our original reporting here.

However, the agency’s latest work may have even trumped that. Two new spots have arrived for UK brand Rustlers microwave burgers and they’re both masterpieces.

The first is a seriously twisted remake of the tale of Little Red Riding Hood. While the second has a wonderful 80s feel and features a school yard “dance/fight” and both come with the burger brand’s “better than you think” tag.

Check out the glorious fun below:

Commenting on the spots, Droga5’s creative director Ed Redgrave said: “In a year where pretty much everything has gone worse than expected, it’s important we celebrate that which is actually better. Like discovering Rustlers burgers are made with 100 percent British and Irish beef. That, really, is the best-case scenario for a microwave burger. And the year 2020.”

There’s also an OOH iteration too. Check out the work below:
