BridgeClimb Sydney is putting one of Australia’s most iconic experiences back on the itinerary of international travellers, with a new campaign from independent creative agency Now We Collide.
The “Experience The Unforgettable” campaign is designed to show Sydneysiders and tourists alike that a trip over the ‘Coathanger’, which turned 90 this year, is not only one of the greatest experiences they will have but also a chance to capture incredible memories with loved ones. The campaign aims to show the breadth of experiences and views from morning to night and includes the new Indigenous Climb experience, Burrawa, that shines a light on the incredible Indigenous history of Sydney.
The 60-second hero video follows the experiences of real BridgeClimb guests, spliced with breathtaking footage of the views across Sydney. During the montage of the experience, the climbers also share their thoughts about the uniqueness and quality of the attraction citing it as a ‘life-long memory’ and an ‘unforgettable experience’.
Ali Cassim, head of marketing, product and digital at BridgeClimb Sydney, commented: “After an incredibly tough couple of years for the tourism industry, it’s time to celebrate the Bridge and this iconic experience with this beautiful campaign. We wanted to showcase all the amazing moments that are a part of the BridgeClimb experience and show people that while the Sydney Harbour Bridge is a must-see site, it’s an even more iconic experience to connect with up close and feel that true sense of achievement.
“This campaign is an important step in our post-covid journey, and Now We Collide has been an incredible partner in helping us to unearth so many great memories and bring these moments to life.”
Keir Maher, managing partner and CEO of Now We Collide, said: “So many thousands of people have amazing memories from this experience, and we really wanted to tell these stories and show what a highlight a trip to the top of the bridge really is. Collaborating with the BridgeClimb Sydney team has been brilliant from day one – including our very own team BridgeClimb experience!”
