Independent agency Friend is behind a campaign for this year’s Big Aussie Barbie event for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.

Running throughout the month of September, the Big Aussie Barbie encourages people to host a fundraising barbecue to help raise funds for the charity.

The campaign, which runs from now until the end of September, includes TV, outdoor, online, email, social media and direct mail.

The TV ad features former Aussie cricketing hero Matthew Hayden, whose father has been battling prostate cancer.
