The elimination episode of My Kitchen Rules which saw favorites Mick and Matt wave farewell to their foodie dreams pulled in 1.896 million viewers.

The strength of the show helped Seven win a commanding 27% of all free to air viewers, according to OzTam’s preliminary metro ratings.

Revenge was another strong Seven performer, in fifth place it pulled in an audience of 1.163 million.

The Block: All Stars came second overall with 1.471 million sets of eyeballs, leading Nine to its 22.8% share of all viewers.

Nine’s The Big Bang Theory was watched by 1.16 million viewers in sixth place while a repeat of the American sitcom had an audience of 948,000.

The ABC had a strong night with seven top 20 programs.

The ABC’s best performer was ABC News in ninth place with 970,000 viewers.

Media Watch claimed an audience of 902,000 and Four Corners won 887,000.

Ten had one top 20 show, Ten News At Five in 17th place with 712,000 viewers.

Ten’s share was 9.1% behind the ABC’s 15.8%.

SBS took 2.9%.
