How Down, Down will Status Quo go?

Just when you thought it was safe to go back into a Coles supermarket, the grocery juggernaught has announced it has re-signed Status Quo to perform a new take of another of their 1970s tunes.

The ageing rockers are this time applying the big red hand treatment to their 1979 hit ‘Whatever you Want’.

The new version of ‘Whatever you Want’ will feature lyrics including some of the most popular items for families such as bread, milk and cheese.

The original ‘Down Down’ campaign launched in 2010 featuring a parody of the song of the same name.

‘Whatever you Want’ is the follow up hit from Status Quo for Coles and is set to hit Australian radio and television airwaves from March 6.
