“You Have No Idea!” Abbie Chatfield Slams Sandilands For Sexist Comments

Abbie Chatfield has slammed Kyle Sandilands for making sexist comments about her during a radio segment.

Sandilands, alongside fill-in co-host Brittany Hockley, were interviewing rapper Yung Gravy when Chatfield was brought up in the discussion. The rapper hinted that he had a date planned with Chatfield.

Sandilands said: “You and everyone else. Line up, my friend. Line up.”

News.com.au has reported that Chatfield has now come out and slammed the comments during her podcast.

She said: “I listened to the segment because a friend of mine said I was mentioned, and discovered a conversation that is not only sexist, and deeply upsetting, but also not even funny?

“The issue I think that people like Kyle and Brittany have with me is that I’m able to speak about sexuality in a way that isn’t shameful, and they think that that must equate to f***ing around every single day and having sex every single day.

“Actually, it’s just the shame they have; therefore, they’re projecting it onto me. Kyle, you have no idea about my sexual habits unless you listen to the podcast. It’s high school weird sh*t, and it’s also, like, encouraging women to pit themselves against each other.”

Chatfield also took aim at Hockley for not saying anything; she said: “At best, I think Britt is feeling uncomfortable and is nervous about being with Kyle and is going along with it.

“At worst, she’s having this weird jealousy thing and trying to bring me down.”

Hockley apologised on her Instagram and wrote, “I will learn from this and do better in the future. I am sorry.”

Sandilands has not responded.
