Tuesday TV Wrap: Celebrity Apprentice Finale Almost Cracks 600,000 Eyeballs

Nine’s Celebrity Apprentice pulled in 594,000 viewers – there was no guest appearance from Donald Trump but Benji Marshall was named champion.

Seven News hit 969,000 viewers while Nine News earned 851,000 viewers.

Nine’s A Current Affair scored 678,000 viewers – and yes that means more people tuned in to watch Grimshaw chase down fraudsters than they did watch Marshall win Celebrity Apprentice – the heart wants what it wants!

As per OzTAM’s metro numbers, Seven’s The Chase grabbed 525,000. Meanwhile, Home And Away nabbed 429,000 viewers and Big Brother pulled in 313,000 viewers – I know this ruins the premise of the show, but I’d like to see the gang out and about together.

For Nine, Hot Seat grabbed 481,000 viewers and reminded me I know nothing.

For 10, The Project pulled in 392,000 viewers. MasterChef brought in 583,000 viewers and The Cheap Seats brought in 429,000 viewers – all wholesome quality viewing.

Meanwhile, SBS’s Who Do You Think You Are cracked the top 20 and grabbed 370,000 viewers.

Finally, ABC had a strong news night ABC News, netting 579,000 viewers and 7.30 earned 450,000 viewers – Ita should be pleased.

Out on top was the Nine Network with 26.8 per cent. Seven Network was behind with 25.8 per cent of the daily share. Followed by the 10 Network with 21.3 per cent.

Followed by ABC Network with 15.2 per cent of the share, while the SBS had 11.00 per cent
