Wednesday TV Wrap: Gruen Wins Entertainment, But Nine Takes The Sash

The ABC’s Gruen brought in 619,000 eyeballs and proved that Wil Anderson is very much a national treasure.

Seven News hit 926,000 viewers while Nine News earned 803,000 viewers.

Nine’s A Current Affair scored 592,000 viewers – Grimshaw, as always I hope the camera men on the show aren’t too puffed.

As per OzTAM’s metro numbers, Seven’s The Chase grabbed 556,000. Meanwhile, Home And Away nabbed 475,000, and Big Brother brought in 337,000 viewers – I’m ready for an intruder! Kerri Ann perhaps?

For Nine, Hot Seat grabbed 428,000 viewers. Meanwhile, Travel Guides brings in 359,000 viewers. Celebrity Apprentice pulled in 429,000 viewers and I know I’m probably wrong but I think I have what it takes to win – besides the celebrity part.

For 10, The Project pulled in 380,000 viewers. Masterchef brought in 554,000 viewers – honestly there’s no show that is filled with more love.

Finally, ABC had a strong night with ABC News, netting 592,000 viewers and 7.30 earned 524,000 viewers.

The Weekly With Charlie pulled in 557,000 viewers – though a bit tougher for Charlie to make jokes with a Labor government.

Out on top was the Nine Network with 29.1 per cent. Seven Network was behind with 24.6 per cent of the daily share. ABC Network grabbed 19.1 per cent, followed by the 10 Network with 18.6 per cent. While the SBS had 8.7 per cent.
