Nike’s Limited Edition Louis Vuitton Sneaker Collection Sells For Eye-Watering $25 Million!

Nike’s Limited Edition Louis Vuitton Sneaker Collection Sells For Eye-Watering $25 Million!

The auction house, Sotheby’s has announced that it sold 200 pairs of Nike X Louie Vuitton for a “recording-breaking” 25.3 million dollars.

Sotheby’s also revealed that one lot sold for $US352,800, (AU $492261.84) Which is more than 23 times the estimate of the $15,000 a pair was expected to grab.

This huge figure set a new record for the auction of any Nike Air Force 1s. Basically rich people lost their minds over these kicks!

The sneakers were designed by the late and great Virgil Abloh making them more than just your average collector’s item. But still? just when you think house prices are the biggest of your worries!

They look like your classic Air-Force ones but with the boujee twist of featuring Louis Vuitton’s unique pattern.

Complex has reported that the sneakers are made from calf leather so at least they are good quality?

Here at B&T, we are sad to report our humble bid of $300 for a pair of kicks. Got us nowhere!
