Ogilvy Australia has been recognised as an Employer of Choice at The Australian Business Awards for the fourth consecutive year.

The Australian Business Awards (ABA) are an annual awards program recognising organisations that demonstrate the core values of business innovation, product innovation, technological achievement and employee engagement via a set of comprehensive award categories.

Commenting on the award win, Dave Sayer, chief operations officer, Ogilvy Australia, said: “We’re incredibly proud to be recognised as an employer of choice for the fourth consecutive year. We know that talent is the cornerstone of our success as an agency, and for the success of our client’s businesses too.”

“This award is not only a testament to our people, but also our leadership and HR team who prioritise building a great culture and investing in our hugely talented people here at Ogilvy. I am honoured to be a part of such an incredible team.”

The Award for Employer of Choice recognises organisations which are developing leading workplaces that maximise the full potential of their workforce through established policies and practices that demonstrate effective employee recruitment, engagement and retention.

Entrant organisations are required to demonstrate their achievements across the key areas of Organisational Culture; Leadership & Strategy; Employee Education, Training & Development; Employee Health, Safety & Satisfaction; Performance Management; Recognition & Remuneration.

Organisational participation includes private companies, public companies, multi-national subsidiaries, non-government organisations, educational institutions, government departments, government agencies, local government and statutory bodies operating in Australia.

Publicis Groupe was also recognised as an Employer of Choice. The two companies were the only media agencies to make the list.
