Outbrain, a recommendation platform for the open web, has announced a string of new senior hires across its APAC team after a year of growth with publishers and advertisers.

Among the eight new recruits are the director of business operations APAC Daniel Littlepage, who will spearhead upcoming projects and new services under the expansion across the APAC market, and head of engage ANZ, Greg Wood.

Other new members in the Sydney and Singapore offices include:

  • Krishan Lal – sales manager, ANZ
  •  Alanna Green – senior account manager – engage, ANZ
  • Ana Carolina Garcia – account manager, ANZ
  •  Jovary Jose – sales director, SEA
  • Chermaine Koh – senior account manager, SEA
  • Calista Teo – sales manager, SEA

Littlepage has a strong background across the marketing and media industry and agencies, including leading video platform 90 Seconds in ANZ and most recently as vice president of growth and operations of proptech startup Inspace.

He will report to managing director APAC and growth markets, Andrew Burke, overseeing operations and strategy to enhance Outbrain’s position across the markets.

As head of engage ANZ, Wood will be responsible for Outbrain’s publisher and audience management, in addition to developing the Engage business line. He has a strong background across digital publishing and media agencies and was most recently an account manager at The Trade Desk.

His new role will see him lead Outbrain’s external publisher and advertiser relationships, product and partnership management alongside account coordination.

APAC MD, Andrew Burke, said: “With this skilled group in place across APAC, Outbrain will be able to meet the increased demand we are seeing from advertisers, as well as help our growing list of publisher partners achieve their goals.

“The wealth of experience the team brings from the media and advertising sectors also means we’re well placed to continue Outbrain’s commitment to help lift the standard of adverts across our network, as we roll out our new Quality Rating initiative and create a better user experience and improved results.”

Littlepage said of his appointment: “After spending the last few years helping innovative companies accelerate across the region,

“I’m excited to be joining Outbrain at a time of real growth to support its important work of helping publishers monetise their content.”
