Thursday TV Wrap: Nine News Top-Rated Telly, While Hot Seat And The Chase Rule Entertainment

Last night, Nine News was the most watched program with 1,149,000 viewers, as per OzTAM’s metro data.

Seven News came in second with 1,132,000 viewers, followed by ABC News with 765,000.

Next was A Current Affair with 711,000 viewers, followed by 7.30 with 601,000.

There was much moving and shaking in Thursday’s entertainment ratings.

On top  was Nine’s Hot Seat, taking an impressive leap well up the charts to net 587,00 viewers. It was tied with Seven’s The Chase.

Next was 10’s MasterChef with 583,000 viewers.

The rest of Seven’s night saw Home and Away and Home and Away – Late peak at 537,000 and 474,000 viewers respectively. The AFL was nicely sandwhiched in the middle with 485,000 viewers.

10 News First rated higher than The Project for 10 last night in an unusual twist. They had 419,000 and 403,000 viewers respectively.

Nine also had the NRL, which scored 347,000 viewers while the ABC had Foreign Correspondent at 394,000 and Sammy J had 382,000.

The Seven Network won the night overall with 32.5 per cent of the daily share, followed by the Nine Network with 27.3 per cent.

Next was Network 10 with 17.1 per cent of the share, followed by the ABC TV Network with 15.2 per cent and the SBS Network with 7.9 per cent.
