Adobe Snares Salesforce’s Jeremy Smith As New Director Of Digital Experience
Adobe has appointed Jeremy Smith as Director of Digital Experience (DX) for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), to create transformational customer experiences and capture the significant market opportunity in this region.
Smith joins Adobe from a nine-year global tenure at Salesforce, where he held various senior sales leadership positions and led regional growth initiatives for its marketing and advertising cloud products across Asia Pacific and Europe. Most recently, Smith was Vice President and Head of Retail for Salesforce UK and Ireland, responsible for retail growth opportunities.
“I am excited to join the Adobe Australian and New Zealand team to help businesses and brands deliver more engaging and personalised digital experiences for their customers. I have always held a passion for data, and the chance to work for Adobe, a global leader in content and now also in data solutions, is incredibly exciting,” Smith said.
Smith will report into Suzanne Steele, Adobe’s Vice President and Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand, who is delighted to welcome Smith onto her ANZ leadership team.
“Jeremy is an experienced, strategic and creative leader with a proven track record of delivering growth across different markets and industries. His experience in empowering enterprise customers along their digital transformation journeys will help us to capture new business opportunities and support our continued growth and leadership in this region,” said Steele.
Based in Sydney, Smith will help drive the next chapter of growth for the Adobe DX business in ANZ, leading both sales and business development teams to help enterprise customers and brands navigate what Smith defines as ‘the digital imperative’.
“Australia and New Zealand are pivotal markets for Adobe with this region delivering strong growth for several years. During 2020 brands have prioritised digital transformation and digital experiences for their customers, and we saw a surge in a need for creativity and digital documents.

Adobe Experience Cloud enables many of Australia’s biggest brands to deliver amazing digital experiences to their customers, as well enable Governments to transform how citizens can access services digitally. Adobe Experience Cloud encompasses analytics, customer data platforms, marketing automation, customer journey orchestration and optimisation, omnichannel eCommerce and content management systems – all powered by Adobe’s AI tool Sensei.
