Jetstar Turns Train Stations Into Airports As Part Of 17th Birthday Campaign Via Thinkerbell

Jetstar has given away $10,000 worth of flight vouchers at two of Australia’s most iconic train stations today to celebrate its 17th birthday.

From 6am this morning, eager travellers were able to ‘catch’ Jetstar flight vouchers valued between $50 and $500 by scanning a QR code as planes flew across digital screens in Melbourne’s Flinders Street station and Sydney’s Central station.

Those not located in Victoria or NSW can follow Jetstar Australia on Facebook or Instagram to join the birthday celebrations.

Jetstar’s chief customer officer, Alan McIntyre, said: “We’re excited to be sharing our birthday celebrations with our customers at a time when demand for leisure travel is at the strongest it’s ever been.

“There’s no doubt there’ll be lots of keen travellers at Flinders Street and Central Stations to snap up these travel vouchers to put towards their next trip.”

The campaign was created with the help of advertising agency Thinkerbell, and follows the airline’s stunning ‘Limited Time Only’ sale promotion.
