Hit Different will be a little bit like a weekly features section, but for music culture, tapping into the best of Aussie music journalism.

It answers the how and why, charting the impact of evolving music culture events, serving the hottest tea and digging deeper on music stories with an unparalleled, how-the-f**k-did-they-get-them raft of guests using the contact books within the team.

When was the last time music hit different for you?

Each episode features two stories and one interview with the best in the music disciplines – Australia, and international.

The hosts include Mikey Cahill (pictured left), music journalist, Australian Music Prize judge and host of 180 Grams, who said “the vibe will be chill, the conversations spicy and the takes extra hot.”

Sose Fuamoli (pictured centre), music journalist and Australian Music Prize judge said, “couldn’t think of anyone better to chop it up with than these guys. Let’s get it!”

Finally, Marcus Teague (pictured right), music writer and musician said: “bring out your dead.”

New episodes are released every Monday on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts and all other podcast platforms.
