Atomic 212° Announces A Staggering 33 New Recruits

Independent agency Atomic 212° has strengthened its smarter, faster, accountable media offering with 33 new hires across its Sydney, Melbourne and Darwin offices. Some 25 of which have joined since January 2021.

The new joiners have been brought on board following a raft of new client wins across the agency including; BMW Group Australia, BWS/Dan Murphy’s, Hort Innovation, Alcohol and Drug Foundation Australia and Openpay.

Atomic 212° welcomes the new recruits with specialist backgrounds across trading, performance, analytics, planning and client service.

Atomic 212° Sydney has bolstered its ranks across planning, client services and digital with impressive recruits such as former Mindshare Global and AU Director, Brittney Rees, who now holds the position of Group Account Director. Rees brings with her an impressive background having worked across the tourism, entertainment and retail sectors for leading global and domestic brands alike including Tourism New Zealand and Foxtel.

Says Rees: “I’ve worked with and learned from some exceptionally talented people and that’s across varying disciplines and levels. I’m looking forward to continuing to learn, grow and be inspired by the team at Atomic 212°.

Anna Godkin joins Atomic 212° Melbourne from Dentsu X, where she previously held the position as Client Director. Godkin says; “I’ve always loved the dynamic nature of our industry, and recognised in Atomic 212° a collective passion for growth, collaboration and delivery of outstanding work. It’s an honour to have joined this wonderful group of people who have created such an inspiring and inclusive culture at the agency.”

Amongst the senior appointments, Atomic 212° is also proud to nurture and develop 8 assistants who join the agency as their first venture into the marcomms industry.

Julia Gapon also joins Atomic 212° as a Planning & Trading Assistant after completing her Masters in Management at the University of Sydney. Gapon says of her appointment; “I was first attracted to the agency because of its independent spirit, the client base and I had also heard positive word of mouth from my trusted industry peers. I also absolutely love the incredibly smart and talented people that I get to work with every day.”
