“Neo-Nazi Attack!” Channel Nine Security Guard Caught In Terrifying Fight With White Supremacist

A Channel Nine security guard was allegedly assaulted by the leader of a neo-nazi group outside the broadcaster’s Melbourne headquarters yesterday afternoon.

According to reports, Thomas Sewell, who leads the far-right National Socialist Network, arrived at the Nine offices with an unidentified associate and demanded to see journalists from Nine’s A Current Affair who aired a segment on the shadowy group last night.

Sewell, who had previously served in the Army, was then asked to leave the building by a security guard while his associate filmed events on his phone.

The man doing the filming then racially taunted the guard, telling him: “Dance monkey, dance.”

“Watch yourself. I’m not a dance monkey. Watch yourself,” the guard responds.

Due to the blurry vision, it’s unclear how the fight starts, however, Sewell is next seen repeatedly punching the guard who falls backwards onto the ground.

The two men then flee the scene, with Sewell later posting the video to Facebook saying he’d used “reasonable self defence”.

Police are investigating the incident and have seized CTV footage of the melee. The guard was taken to hospital for treatment.

A spokesperson for Nine said in a statement that police had the broadcaster’s “full co-operation in seeking justice. We are providing support to the member of our staff who was attacked. Nine is committed to providing a safe working environment for all our people.”

    1. Interesting that he is clearly wearing a radio mike – pause the video at 12 seconds and then at 22 seconds!
