Magnum ice-cream has created ‘Pleasure Tales By Magnum’, an anime film series to be shown at the 25th Japanese Film Festival.

The anthology of films are connected by one core theme – the pursuit of true pleasure. Developed by a collective of artists, the animated films celebrate the diverse experiences and perspectives of today’s society.

Each story is a reminder that searching for pleasure is a uniquely human venture, and much like all humans are different, so is all pleasure.

Magnum partnered with Powerhouse Animation Studios to bring to life the two stories through anime.

Butterfly tells the story of a man grappling with a monotonous daily routine, while Konnichiwa sees a young woman meet an unusual young man.

‘Pleasure Tales By Magnum’ will be featured during the Japanese Film Festival, which will run throughout Australia from 6th February to 3rd March.
