Fig & Bloom Launch ‘Broquet’ To Encourage Men To Give Each Other Flowers Via Thinkerbell

In the campaign, designed by Thinkerbell, Fig & Bloom have partnered with Gotcha4Life to launch three unique bouquets of dried flowers.

Half of the proceeds of every Broquet sold will go towards Gotcha4Life, to fund participation in educational workshops across the country. Gotcha4Life does essentially work in building ‘meaningful mateship’ to help prevent suicide and develop mental fitness throughout Australia.

Gus Worland, Founder of Gotcha4Life said, “it’s alarming that suicide is the leading cause of death for Australians between 15 and 44 years of age, and men make up 75% of suicides every single day in Australia. What we know is – most men don’t want to admit when they’re having a rough time.

By sending a Fig & Bloom Broquet this February, we hope more men are empowered to reach out to their “bros” via a simple gesture that may help to spark important conversations and strengthen social connection”.

The initiative is an important step forwards in encouraging men to reach out to one another and embrace emotional vulnerability and openness with their friends.

“We want men to be able to enjoy giving and receiving flowers,” Kellie Brown of Fig & Bloom said.

“We hope that the giving of these Broquets from man to man opens up a conversation and reinforce or rekindle a connection”.

One third of men feel their relationships with friends and colleagues weakened due to the COVID-19 pandemic according to a Social Research Centre study.

So, show your bros you love them – you can treat them to a Broquet here.
