Creative Agency Edge Helps Harris Coffee Share Their First Stories Of Café Recovery

Following the launch of The Harris Café Recovery Project, Harris Coffee has released the stories of support for three of the cafes.

The scheme, launched back in July this year, offered Australian café owners nationwide the opportunity to apply for a share in a support package following the impact of the bushfires and Covid-19.

Over the last couple of months, the project has played a role in helping a number of cafes get back on their feet by supplying them with free Harris Cafe Blend Coffee, barista training and marketing support.

The stories share the plight and beginning of the road to recovery of three very different cafes across Australia.   Through the voices of the families of the Trader Store in Uralla, No 9 Station Café in Greenacre and Thomas Corner Eatery in Noosaville, Harris shares the details of the real difference being recipients of the Harris recovery project has offered not only the family businesses but also the communities they support.

Developed by Edge, filmed by Monster Children, with PR by Red Havas and media by Havas Media, this is the second iteration of Harris’ newly established brand platform, “Made for Australia” and includes both video and blog content.

Said Edge Executive Director, Nicole Gardner, “With the Café Recovery Project, Harris Coffee set out to give back to the people and communities that have supported the brand.  It is great to close the loop and share the stories of the positive impact the brand has had.”

Continued Donna Mulholland, JDE’s ANZ Marketing Director, “Harris Coffee is committed to continuing to support the things Australians care about. This year’s Café Recovery Project is just the first step and we are already working through the initiatives that will make a difference to Australians in the next 2-3 years.”
