2020’s Defining Moment? Pensioner Mistakes Slushie Machine For Hand Sanitiser!

To COVID-19’s credit, it’s given us many wonderful things to laugh about. “Karens” going off in Bunnings and fist fights in the toilet paper aisle to name but a few.

However, new CTV footage of an elderly chap mistaking a service station’s slushie machine for hand sanitiser could well be the image that defines 2020.

The unnamed, but socially aware gentleman, can be seen entering the store in a face mask and dutifully using the raspberry slushie machine to wash his hands.

The footage is now been widely circulated online, although the store’s location remains a mystery.

Despite the gaffe, the man’s actions quickly won praise on social media.

“God bless his little heart, one thing his hands still will be clean – sticky but clean – melted my heart this,” tweeted one.

“Better effort than half the young hard nuts who don’t give a shit about sanitisation,” penned another.

While another added: “Poor bugger just trying to do the right thing – he could have someone really poorly at home.”
