Network 10 Claps Back At Litigious Bachie Contestant, While Doran References Ominous Bible Passage

Network 10 has been swift and fierce in its response to Bachelor in Paradise contestant Jamie Doran’s announcement that he’ll be suing Network 10 and Warner Bros. Australia over his BIP experience.

Doran made the announcement on Instagram Wednesday morning, with last night’s Bachelor in Paradise episode seeing Doran booted off the show after not receiving a rose.

The unlucky-in-love Doran has been portrayed in an arguably negative light as someone who is clingy and overly emotional.

As such, he’s decided to sue Network 10 over unfavourable editing.

However, Network 10 has now responded and said: “Network 10 has not received any papers regarding this claim.”

Doran wrote on Instagram: “This is not the news I wanted to post, but I feel I owe this to at least my family, friends, and also fans of The Bachelorette and Bachelor In Paradise,” he wrote in a note shared to Insta.

“After lengthy consideration, I’ve decided to begin legal proceedings against Network 10 & Warner Bros Australia.”

He added: “I’m not going to comment on this any further for the time being, and would appreciate it if people would respect my privacy.”

Originally B&T believes there was no caption to his post, however comments were turned off.

Today, however, Doran appears to have updated the caption of the post with a reference to a Bible passage.

That particular Bible passage says: “David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.”

So yeah, that’s that then…
