Mark Zuckerberg Gets Photographed With WAY Too Much Sunscreen, Twitter Has A Field Day

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg may be worth a cool $US90 billion ($A129 billion) and, as you’d expect with that sort of coin, is constantly surrounded by a security team providing 24-hour protection. However, it’s his very own protection – a very liberal use of zinc cream – that has now caught social media’s eye.

The 36-year-old mega billionaire is currently holidaying at his $US200 million pad on the Hawaiian island of Kauai.

Over the weekend, Zuckerberg was photographed riding his $US12,000 electric Efoil surfboard alongside pro surfer Kai Lenny and his ever-present security detail in a boat not far behind.

However, it’s his choice of sun protection that’s causing all the mirth.

Not only is his face caked in way too many layers of zinc cream, he also appears to be wearing a Facebook logoed blue hoodie, too.

To make matters worse, the images concide with locals on the island of Kauai calling on the tech billionaire to stop colonising the land, claiming he is suing natives in order to build a mansion on their land. The Change.org campaign was launched three weeks ago and has already garnered over 800,000 signatures.

Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan acquired a 700-plus acre property for $200 million in Kauai back in 2014.

Still, it was Zuckerberg’s safety first summer look that sparked a wave of memes across arch-rival Twitter who compared him to everything from the Joker, Mrs Doubtfire, legendary mime artist a Marcel Marceau, the moon and even a lizard.
