Thursday TV Wrap: Gogglebox Dips, But 10 Wins The Night Thanks To MasterChef

Despite Gogglebox taking a dip last night, MasterChef‘s standout numbers were enough to see 10 win the night across all key demos.

Thursday night’s episode of Gogglebox did 601,000, which while not bad in and of itself, is significantly lower than last week’s 874,000 views. Luckily, MasterChef once again hit over a million views (1.02m) to hand 10 a win.

Over at Nine, Hot Seat was the entertainment of choice (599,000), while 429,000 ABC viewers tuned in to watch Sammy J.

10 secure the number one spot in all key demos, also coming in at number one primary channel with 20.9 per cent. Nine did 17.7 per cent, while Seven followed on 16.0 per cent. ABC and SBS did 10.5 per cent and 4.4 per cent respectively.

Here’s how the rest of the night ran:

10

MasterChef Masterclass did 802,000, The Project did 636,000 and 10 News First did 513,000.

Seven

News did 1.28m, The Chase did 690,000 and Home & Away did 661,000.

Nine

News did 1.17m, ACA did 798,000 and RBT did534,000.

ABC

News did 914,000, 7.30 did 655,000 and Grand Designs did 406,000.

All channel share 

10 pulled a decent 27.1 per cent, Nine earned 26.0 per cent, Seven did 23.8 per cent, while ABC and SBS did 15.2 per cent and 7.9 per cent respectively.
