Italian Priest Accidentally Livestreams Mass With The Filters On, Becomes Viral Smash

Sadly, Italy is getting utterly smashed by COVID-19 at the moment, forcing lawmakers to bring in some of the harshest isolating laws in the world.

Not that a good Italian is going to miss mass for a global pandemic, forcing many churches to stream services online.

And now an unidentified sacerdote (that’s Italian for priest) has become a global social media smash after he attempted to conduct a service online, but ended up suffering some hilarious technical difficulties.

The priest accidentally turned on video filters during his livestreamed sermon, and quickly turned the poor man of the cloth into everything from a spaceman, a Blues Brother and a weightlifter.

Check out the nonsense. And in this instance, it’s okay to laugh in church

Naturally, the clip soon went viral with one tweeting: “I love this so much. I’m not a churchgoer, but I appreciate the effort they’re making for their congregation, despite the fact that they might be technically challenged.”

Another added: “Lord, forgive me for laughing.” While another tweeted: “Laughter is the best medicine. Omg. So funny!!”
