Twattish Reality TV Star Says Dead Koalas’ Fur Should Be Sold For Charity

Australia’s horrific bushfire crisis has become global news and now a British reality TV star has suggested the fur from koalas killed in the fires should be sold to make luxury goods and the money given to charities.

Controversial contestant from the current series of the UK’s The Apprentice, Ryan-Mark Parson, made the bizarre claim on yesterday’s Good Morning Britain.

There has been reports that as many as 30,000 koalas have perished in the three months of bushfires.

“I’m not going on this debate saying that we need to slaughter koalas, in fact I love koalas,’ Parsons said. “If there was a koala here I’d hug a koala.

“The idea of this is to raise money for the charities. Now it is very unfortunate.  The animals are dead, and if we can use the fur to raise money to save the other animals, I don’t see why that’s an issue,” he explained.

Host Susanna Reid called it a “sick idea”, but Ryan snapped back: ‘Well I don’t think it’s a sick idea.”

And, as you’d expect, viewers on social media were equally outraged by the idea.

“Koala fur to sell to the evil vile scum of this earth to encourage more slaughtering of more innocent helpless animals? NO THANK U!! MOST RIDICULOUS idea of 2020 award to the GREEDY IDIOT on ur show! EVIL, EVIL, VILE, VILE suggestion & thought #GMB” tweeted one.

“Can’t believe Ryan Mark. Thought he was a moron on The Apprentice but his ideas for selling koala fur is a whole new level of twat. What a shame Piers isn’t presenting #gmb this morning.”
