Marks & Spencer Unveils Glorious All-Dancing Ode To The Christmas Jumper

Explosive federal politics aside, no one does a Christmas ad – and for that matter, a Christmas jumper – quite like the Brits.

Enter department chain Marks & Spencer’s 2019 Christmas ad.

A glorious all-singing, all-dancing affair that’s a homage to the slightly awful Christmas sweater so loved by the English.

The ad’s the work of creative agency ODD London and was shot by the British director Jake Nava – best known for his work on Beyoncé video clips – with the brand hoping the spot’s “shoulder roll” move will possibly translate from ad to dance floors this Christmas holiday period.

Check out the festive fun below:

Nathan Ansell, M&S’s clothing and home marketing director, said: “This year our Christmas campaign really brings the changes we’re making at M&S to life – it’s all about great style and great value for the whole family.

“We’re backing with confidence our biggest commercial category for Christmas and importantly having some fun with our customer Christmas ads so far this season seem to be about cheering us up, not tugging on our heartstrings, and Marks & Spencer’s clothing campaign makes a happy contribution to the national mood.”
