Comms Agency History Will Be Kind Announces Three New Hires

Creative communications agency History Will Be Kind (HWBK) is refreshing and building its team, bringing in a new trio of talent to focus on growth and delivering great work across sectors.

The agency recently took out Boutique Agency of the Year at the PR Asia Awards and has welcomed Lené Ferris as account director, Heidi Rose as senior account manager and Alice Cooke in the role of account manager.

Lené joins with over eight years’ integrated experience, having worked with clients like McDonalds, Unilever and Australian Turf Club at agencies including Mango, The Mint Partners and One Green Bean.

Bringing both agency and in-house experience to HWBK, from roles at Hausmann and Procter & Gamble, Heidi is set to deliver expert consulting with a focus on best practice media and influencer relations expertise, while Alice joins the team following stints at Fuel in Sydney and Franklin Rae in London, having worked with clients including Arnott’s, Instagram, Corona, Universal Pictures and Gumtree.

Emma-Jane (EJ) Granleese, founder and managing partner of HWBK, said that she is thrilled to welcome new talent to the table as the agency continues to build its diverse portfolio, including in the health, finance and consumer technology space.

“At History, we are proud to embrace a dynamic mix of thinkers and doers and want to push ourselves to continue evolving the work we do, the types of work we do and clients we partner with. As an independent agency, we are free to play with ideas, to pivot our offering and to never settle, and that is certainly our intention and focus now, and into 2020.

“From leading on complex strategy projects to bolstering our training offering, to re-imagining the way an agency can partner with brands, we’re excited to be building a team that can deliver across the communications and content mix.”

HWBK is proudly part of a four-agency collective, the Deepend Group, an independent, digital communications and innovation consultancy group.  The Deepend Group portfolio includes the leading specialist agencies Deepend (Digital), How To Impact (Innovation), Nomad (Emerging Tech) and History Will Be Kind (PR/Social Media).
