RedEngine SCC Expands Team, Hiring Matt Daunt & Chloe McCormack

Bolstering its client service accounts division, independent creative agency RedEngine SCC has appointed Matt Daunt as new client partner and Chloe McCormack (feature image) as new account director.

With 20-plus years experience in marketing and advertising, Daunt first cut his teeth at Saatchi & Saatchi London working on a range of FMCG brands before making the transition across to client-side to work in the marketing communications departments of Lloyds TSB Bank and Paramount Pictures.

Following this, Daunt spent the next seven years developing his expertise working in-house for a range of agencies, including AGI Solution in Los Angeles, M&C Saatchi Sydney, where he handled the Optus account, and with BWM Dentsu Sydney, managing clients including Telstra, BigPond, Virgin Money, Diageo, nib Health Funds and myPlates.

On joining RedEngine SCC, Daunt said: “I was looking for a new challenge where I could flex my skills to work across the cutting edge of digital, media, brand strategy and content marketing. I’m very pleased to find a new home in RedEngine SCC where the pursuit of creativity and innovation is encouraged and highly valued.”

Launching her career in advertising with Havas Worldwide in Melbourne, McCormack then made the move across to Isobar Melbourne before relocating to Sydney to join David Koch’s company, Pinstripe Media. Previous to joining RedEngine SCC, she also worked at creative agency, bgb Creative, whilst juggling the marketing of her own skincare brand, Srsly Honey.

Commenting on her new position, McCormack said: “I was particularly drawn to the agency’s diverse portfolio of clients and to the enthusiastic attitude of the RedEngine SCC team. It is also great to be at an independent agency that welcomes entrepreneurial thinking and one that allows me to further develop my skills in creativity and account leadership.”

RedEngine SCC founder & CEO, Julian Townley, adds: “Recent new client wins including Princess Cruises and Baptist Care have resulted in an expansion of our team. Both Matt and Chloe share great industry experience that is equally matched by their entrepreneurial spirit, made evident through their own business pursuits. Entrepreneurial spirit fuels one of our core values, ‘Adapt to Thrive’, and we’re excited to welcome such great talent to the RedEngine SCC team.”
