Huawei Australia has appointed Paul Jowett as director of marketing, Huawei Consumer Business Group (CBG). He will lead Huawei consumer marketing efforts in Australia, to help bring the company’s world-class line-up of smartphones, PCs and wearables to more users.

Jowett had previous roles as ANZ partner marketing at Apple, and head of channel marketing at Samsung.

Jowett added: “Huawei is constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible with technology, and sets the benchmark for smartphone innovation. I am thrilled to join the Australian team and look forward to delivering exciting campaigns for the business.”

The announcement follows the recent appointment of Ebany Draper as PR manager – Consumer, Lifestyle and Events at Huawei CBG Australia.

Draper joined from Destination NSW, where she worked on Vivid Sydney.
