Wednesday TV Wrap: Seven Seals It By The Cat’s Whisker

Seven snuck home for a Wednesday night win by the slimmest of margins, seeing-off rival Nine by 0.1 per cent.

The broadcaster had 26.3 per cent of last night’s eyeballs (all channels), beating Nine’s 26.2 per cent. 10 did well with 22.3 per cent, the ABC enjoyed 18.3 per cent and SBS pulled 6.9 per cent.

Seven had the most watched show of the night, its 6pm news pulling 1.034 million. Home And Away did 645,000, The Chase had 578,000 and Celebrity Chase did 572,000.

Over at 10, The Bachelor pulled 744,000, The Project did 504,000 and My Life Is Murder didn’t really kill it with 406,000.

Nine’s best was its 6pm new news with 870,000, followed The Block with 828,000, ACA with 771,000 and Hot Seat with 475,000.

In the battle for breakfast, Sunrise (260,000) nailed Today (208,000).

Over at the ABC, Shaun Micalleff’s Mad As Hell was its best, posting 686,000. Utopia had 660,000, the 7pm news pulled 655,000, Hard Quiz did 616,000, 7.30 managed 551,000 and Diary Of An Uber Driver had 288,000.

SBS’s best was its Tony Robinsons’ Coast To Coast with 215,000.
