Mango Melbourne Announces Three New PR & Event Hires

Mango Melbourne, part of the DDB Group, has welcomed three new team members following recent business growth.

Carol Laws (right in photo), Janette Henstridge (left) and Maddie Poulson (middle) bring with them experience across PR and events, in sectors including consumer, retail, telecommunications and fashion.

An account director with previous roles at Kate & Co and Porter Novelli, Laws has nine years’ experience working across national and global consumer brands, such as Treasury Wine Estates, Coles, Disney, Warner Bros and Dairy Australia.

Laws said: “I’m really excited to be working with the Mango team – everyone has been so welcoming, and the energy is infectious. I’m looking forward to leading some fantastic consumer campaigns for our clients.”

Henstridge joins Mango as senior account manager from Attention + Influencer (formerly PR Edge) where she worked across a number of high-profile clients, including Cochlear and Telstra, on PR and events. Account Executive Poulson comes home to Australia after spending time in the UK working in luxury fashion PR.

Mango Melbourne general manager Jessica Allison said: “Our ethos is to hire people who are talented and nice, so we’re pleased to welcome three new consultants to the Melbourne team who fit the bill perfectly.”

“Carol has an excellent track record of creating engaging experiences for high-profile brands, Janette brings a wealth of media relations experience to the table, and Maddie is a breath of fresh air with a can-do attitude,” Allison said.

Mango’s clients include: McDonald’s, Unilever, Coles, Volkswagen, TAC and Wella.
