RSVP Shows How Single Aussies Can Start Their Next Dating Chapter With New TVCs

Australia’s oldest online dating site has just released its latest TV advertising campaign, highlighting how thousands of Aussies start their next dating chapter each week on RSVP.

The three-part campaign, airing on TV this month, shows the benefits of RSVP’s advanced matching algorithm to guide members in their dating journey, matching singles who share similar interests and passions.

RSVP marketing executive Jenny Romero said: “With this campaign, we have tried to highlight that an RSVP first date should feel comfortable because you know the important things about your potential partner.

“Using the RSVP site or app isn’t just about a simple swipe – there’s a lot more science involved, which sees RSVP taking historical success data and applying it to your ideal partner criteria.

“It’s not all science and no romance; however, we wanted to show that the algorithm doesn’t take away that first date spark. Rather, it gives a sense of familiarity so you can turn the page of your dating next chapter confidently.

RSVP also aims to highlight that its doesn’t just help people find quality dates – it also supports local musicians.

Featured in the campaign is independent Australian artist Banoffee (aka Martha Brown), who is currently touring in the US with Charlie XCX and Taylor Swift.

RSVP chief executive Dave Heysen said: “Our aim with this creative was to demonstrate the changing face of online dating. The past decade has seen an enormous shift in who is finding love online, and we wanted a modern track to be the backdrop to this.

“We didn’t just want the music to be modern; it was also important for the people featured to highlight the types of people now using RSVP.”

Created by Winc-ads, the TVCs were shot in Sydney’s Kensington Street, Chippendale, Surry Hills and Centennial Park. The campaign will run across TV – both free-to-air and paid – and digital channels.
