Mindshare Taps Ex-Denstu Aegis Director To Lead Nike Account

Mindshare Melbourne has appointed Liam Hale as client director on its Nike account.

Hale joined GroupM on 16 April and reports to Mindshare Melbourne managing director Helena Snowdon.

He joins from Dentsu Aegis Network where he was digital director at Vizeum Melbourne.

Hale is taking over from Jane Kennedy-Good who has moved internally to a senior planning role on the Treasury Wine Estates business.

Previously, Hale was an account director at iProspect in London.

Mindshare has held the Nike account in Melbourne since 2013.

Snowdon says: “I’m thrilled Liam has joined us to take the lead on our Nike business.”

“The team is in great shape and I know having worked with Liam previously that he will keep up the momentum and keep pushing the boundaries in innovation.

“Jane has done a fantastic job on Nike and has built a rare hybrid skillset over her career. I’m equally thrilled to see her move within our team to such a key role.”

“Keeping our best people and developing their careers remains core to our business and culture.

Hale says: “In Mindshare I saw a model that encourages genuine collaboration to deliver client value. In Nike, I saw a brand that inspires every athlete and innovates every medium every single day.”

“I’m excited to have joined the GroupM family.”
