Leo Burnett Sydney CEO Pete Bosilkovski Exits

Peter Bosilkovski, CEO of Leo Burnett Sydney, has announced he is departing the business.

Bosilkovski joined the agency’s executive team in 2009 as client services director, a role he held until his appointment to managing director in 2014.

In 2015, Bosilkovski was promoted to CEO of Leo Burnett Sydney and has led the agency since.

During his time with Leo Burnett, Bosilkovski challenged the traditional agency structures and advocated for innovative, integrated models like Leo Burnett Connect.

He was instrumental in launching The Nest, the paid marketing and advertising internship program across the Leo Burnett Sydney and Diageo businesses.

Bosilkovski has been passionate about the Leo Burnett culture and its people, implementing a range of ‘people first’ staff initiatives. He has also nurtured the creative product and reputation of the agency, winning many local and international awards.

Melinda Geertz, CEO of Leo Burnett Australia, said: “Peter has spent nearly nine years as a leader in our Sydney office. We have loved his energy, ambition and, above all, his commitment to creativity and innovation.

“It’s been a pleasure working with him, and on behalf of all of us at Leo Burnett, I want to thank Peter for his contributions and his years of dedication to this agency. We wish him great success.”

Commenting on his departure, Bosilkovski said: “Leo Burnett has one of the best cultures in the industry, and it wasn’t an easy decision to leave.

“But after nearly nine years, it was time to resign as the CEO of the Sydney office to pursue the next chapter of my career, which I’ll be able to announce in the near future.

“The greatest privilege and honour has been to work alongside such world-class talent and amazing client partners who always have your back and are prepared to scale walls to be the best in the world. This has certainly been the highlight.

“Leo Burnett has helped shape me as the leader I am today, and I wish them all the success in the future.”

Leo Burnett’s search for Bosilkovski’s replacement is underway.
