Revealed: The Planet’s Top 10 Instagrammers & What They Earn Per Post

A new report into the world’s top 10 Instagram bloggers has revealed the staggering amount the celebrities can earn per post.

According to the report by Instagram schedulers Hopper, Selena Gomez (above) remains the most followed global celebrity on the social media platform with 122 million followers and, on average, earns a staggering $A720,000 per post.

As you’d expect, the list is dominated by the like of the Kardashians, with only two men – Cristiano Ronaldo and Lebron James –  making the top 10.

Here’s Hopper’s Top 10 Instagram earners (all values in Aussie dollars):

1 Selena Gomez – 122 million followers – $720,000  per post

2 Kim Kardashian – 100 million followers –  $656,000 per post

3 Cristiano Ronaldo – 104 million followers – $525,000 per post

4 Kylie Jenner – 95 million followers – $525,000 per post

5 Kendall Jenner – 81.7 million followers – $485,000 per post

6 Khloe Kardashian – 68 million followers – $327,000 per post

7 Kourtney Kardashian – 57.8 million followers – $327,000 per post

8 Cara Delevingne – 40.4 million followers – $196,000 per post

9 Gigi Hadid 34.7 million followers – $157,000 per post

10 Lebron James – 30.7 million followers – $157,000 per post

Commenting on the results, Mike Bandar, co-founder of HooperHQ.com, said: “Instagram is now an incredibly effective marketing tool for brands and it’s fascinating to see how celebrities and influencers are able to monetise their accounts so effectively,” he said in a blog post.

“With approximately 700 million active monthly users across the world, it offers a wealth of potential customers for brands that have the budget to harness the influence of the people on our lists, and a chance for people to make a real career out of ‘gramming,’” he added.
