Sapporo Australia Shows Off New Look

Sapporo Australia has unveiled a bold and contemporary new look across above the line, online and packaging.

Created by Asprey Creative, the new packaging coincides with a national outdoor campaign for the Japanese beer brand by Channel T Melbourne.

Matt Burr, partner brands marketing manager at Premium Beverages, said the new look is about celebrating the taste and authenticity of the first beer of Japan.

“Consumers are now much more discerning toward Japanese flavours, and Sapporo drinkers love the pure, crisp and refined taste,” he said.

Asprey Creative managing director Peter Asprey said the new packaging is a confident and modern reflection of the Sapporo brand.

“By projecting the iconic Sapporo gold star with the sophisticated, minimal black background, we’re returning ‘Legendary Biru’ to the bar and retail environments,” he said.
