Seven’s Amelia Mulcahy Switches TV For Radio In New Role With The Hit Network

Fresh from presenting the weather on Seven’s Adelaide news bulletin and Today Tonight, Amelia Mulcahy will join The Hit Network as a weekend brekkie host.

The radio network (which is owned by Southern Cross Austereo) announced in a statement that Mulcahy will host Adelaide’s hit107 every Saturday morning from 7am to 9am alongside comedian James McCann and Andrew Hayes.

Mulcahy said it was great to see The Hit Network supporting locally made and produced content.

“I’m so excited to be part of this show,” she said in a statement.

“Haysey and James are hilarious and we’re here to give you laughs and good vibes to get your Saturday going.”

Gemma Fordham, head of The Hit Network, said it was exciting to be bringing local Saturday brekkie shows to each metro market, with the network having already announced new shows for Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane last month.

“Whilst we have incredible network shows, locality is also very important to us as a network,” she said.
