TV Characters Go Under The Knife In New Ad For French Channel

French pay TV channel Canal+ has unveiled a clever new ad campaign featuring characters from some of its flagship programs to launch its new offering.

The big budget commercial, titled ‘The Kitchen’, was created on behalf of Canal+ by French agency BETC, and plays on the analogy that just like in a restaurant kitchen, only the best ingredients make great TV.

According to Television Business International, Canal+ marketing director Guillaume Boutin said the commercial perfectly illustrates the way in which the channel creates for its subscribers “a unique offering based above all on quality, to be consumed as a family or in a personalised way, live or à lacarte on all screens”.
