Rupert Murdoch Causes Twitter Meltdown With Tweet About Barack Obama

Media mogul Rupert Murdoch recently caused social media chaos with a tweet about US President Barack Obama.

The tweet was apparently in response to Ben Carson, a politician who is running for the Presidency, and his appearance on a Fox News segment called Kelly File, hosted by Megyn Kelly. It was preceded up by a promotional tweet for Carson’s appearance…

…and followed up by a tweet suggesting readers read New York Magazine.

US publication Variety said Murdoch had not been shy in his support of Carson for President. However, Twitter users were quick to jump on the middle tweet which some have suggested was taking a racial swipe at Obama.
