MasterChef Pulls A Master Failure By Posting Finalists Before Episode

Whoever is running MasterChef’s social media account is in trouble, after the Facebook page spoiled the result of the Thursday night’s elimination episode hours before it went to air.

The Facebook post revealed that fan-favourite Reynold Poernomo was going to be eliminated in the upcoming episode.

The post showed a photo of finalists Georgia Barnes, Billie McKay and Jessica Arnott with the caption: “The final three set a Mystery Box challenge for the judges in tonight’s MasterClass!”

The offending post was taken down 15 minutes later, but the damage was done. Despite the stuff up MasterChef continued posting teaser pictures of the episode:

Fans were having none of it, taking to social media to air their flaming disgust:

Channel Ten posted a statement apologising: “MasterChef Australia is truly sorry for the earlier post which inadvertently revealed the result of tonight’s episode for a number of our fans. It was a simple human error and we apologise wholeheartedly.”

At least they didn’t blame the intern like Donald Trump did.
